Do you purchase copies of most of the books you read or check them out?

Good question. I was curious, so I counted. I own 21 of the books on this list. The rest were from the library or loaned by a friend, and one was in a classroom where I subbed and I finished it during her planning period. However, of the books I own, I didn't purchase all of them. Some were gifts. And of those I bought, most were bought a long time ago and I got around to reading them this year or I read them again for different reasons. I think only two were bought this year--Things are Gonna Get Ugly, because Hillary was my thesis advisor, and The Wednesday Letters because it was cheap :). How about you?
